Sorry for the screenshots being so low quality, idk why its like that. Anyways!

NOTE:

This game contains flashing lights, which can be seen in the screenshots. If you are photosensitve or someone with epilepsy, then you probably shouldnt play this game, even if there is an option to disable some of the more intense effects.

Gameplay brief:

In this reaction-based game, you must counter enemy samurais by predicting their next move. Counter the enemy to stun them, then deal as much damage as possible with your attacks.

Be careful, though! Any mistake comes with grave consequences.

Controls:

Everything is controlled by mouse except for pressing a key to start the game.

Pressing alt puts the game in fullscreen for Windows.

Sidenote:

This game can get REALLY HARD, especially at first when youre learning the enemy's hints for each attack. You will probably need to do multiple runs to properly memorize. 

Thankfully, you can skip fights by pressing backspace in battle if you already beat someone. Makes replaying the game a lil easier

by the way, it impossible to play trough site since the game will be smaller and u won't see hints or enemy hearts.

heyo! I just updated the game. If you press the fullscreen button on itch.io, it will actually be fullscreen!!

You can also resize the windows version now, and make it fullscreen as well.

thank you but i got idea, soo when u parry and attack u can't know when enemy back in defense, so my idea is what for last 3 seconds of stun red "!" will apear on top of enemy indicating what the enemy about get back at defense

i see, interesting idea, but an exclamation point might a bit too obvious

There's already some kind of hint for that, actually, but it's not really obvious. The enemy stops bleeding around a second before they're back to a normal state.

I think the solution would be to either tell the player about that beforehand or make them stop bleeding earlier.

but from hits blood splash happens, so if hit so much fast it unable to see when bleeding stop

trust me or no but i made it trough last boss, but it kinda sucks what if u lose to last guy u get ending. but here the screen that shows what i beated the game

This is a pretty cool game, though I couldn't beat the first guy. But I like the visuals and concept
